Stubborn Canadian (TWIIIN)

Jay collapsed tiredly on the couch of his locker room, he had little under an hour before Adam, Chey and AJ would pick him up and he wanted to nap while he waited. He had been getting sick the last few days and it was getting harder and harder to hide it from his loved ones. AJ and Chey were watching him like a hawk and Adam had been calling for him to fess up he was sick.

"Uncle Jaaaaaaaay," came a tiny little voice from the doorway. Destiny.

Jay opened his eyes slowly, looking at her. "Des?" He asked softly/

She climbed up into his lap. "Time t'go!"

Jay blinked again, not sure if he had gotten any sleep at all. He sat up though and reached for his bag.

She giggled. "Sleepies?"

Jay nodded, "Yeah... Where are the others at Des?"

"Ou'side."

Jay nodded as he carefully sat her on her feet and started to walk her out of the locker room.

Cheyenne smiled when she spotted them. "Did you enjoy your wake up call?"

Jay gave the best smile he could, "Most adorable wake up call." He answered, feeling so tired.

"C'mon, let's get you home, blue jay. You look exhausted."

Jay nodded and zipped up his hoodie, he was cold.

"You've had a pretty long day..."

Jay nodded as he pulled his hoodie tighter. "Yeah..."

"C'mon, let's get you to bed."

Jay nodded quietly, holding back a cough that tickled his throat.

She wrapped an arm around his waist.

Jay tiredly wrapped his arm around her as well, his face slowly getting paler.

"You don't look too good, Blue Jay, you alright?"

"Just tired..." Jay said softly, not wanting to worry her or the other two.

"You don't get pale from being tried, William."

"I'm not pale..." Jay protested weakly.

"Yes you are," Cheyenne replied, arms folded.

Jay couldn't look at her, she knew he was sick and he didn't want to admit it.
