Surprise Check Up Love. (Ted/Jenna)

Ted's primary doctor told him that he needed to get a check up and blood work done with another doctor since he would be out of town. Ted always hated to being seen by someone else he has very bad trust issues. They made him an appointment and got him in the very same day. He took a deep breathe before walking into the place and signing in filling out the necessary paper work. He was thinking to himself how he wanted to be home watching the game but it's not happening any time soon.

Jenna couldn't believe it when she saw the name on her next patient's chart. It was Ted. Sure, it had been years since their relationship ended, since he left her for Maryse, but the pain was still there. She took a deep breath, and turned the knob on the exam room door.

Ted didn't bother to look up when he heard the door open. He was to busy working on his phone to notice that it was his one true love that had walked in

"Well, long time no see, Ted," Jenna said softly.

When Ted heard her voice he dropped the phone right out of his hand and looked directly at her. She was still as beautiful as he remember. "Jenna...how...how are you?" He asked not knowing if she was going to interact with him after what he had done to her

"Alright, I suppose. Working a lot. Nothing else to do really...you?"

"Same accept the working part." He said watching her

She tucked her once curly blond hair behind her ear nervously.

"Still shy as I remembered." He said with a small smile

"Girl becomes guarded when she gets her heart broken by the man she trusted the most..."

Ted looked down knowing that she was talking about him" Jenna I beat myself up about that a million times and I know it doesn't take away the pain I caused you."

"I was never anything but good to you..."

"You don't think I know that. I swear if I could take it back I would but I cant. The only thing I can do is beg for you to forgive me."

"How am I ever supposed to trust you?"

"I don't know, but I'm willing to do anything. "

A quiet moment, and then, "Okay..."

He looked at her" are you sure."

She nodded. "I can't spend the rest of my life wondering what if. "Not with you."

He nodded" Okay. We are going to take things slow."

She nodded. "I can do slow."

"Okay. So how about dinner?"

Another nod. "Dinner sounds nice, but you obviously aren't here on a social call."

"Your right I'm not. I'm actually here to have a physical. "

"I read up on your file," she said, brushing a bit of her hair behind her ear, "and I just wanted you to know that you shouldn't worry too much."

He nodded" Why would I worry when I have you as a doctor."
