She nodded" ah ah ah ah aaaaahhhhhhhh. " she said before coughing again

Lorie made another note. "Okay, and the same thing again, with an E, let's try that."

"E.e.e.e.eeee" she got out before coughing again

A few more notes. "Let's just stick to that for now, different sounds can be easier depending on what's going on. Let's try 'a', like apple next."

"Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Aaaaappp." She cougges

Again, more notes. "Try giving me just the 'a' this time."

"A.a.a.a.aaaaaa" she got in about ten seconds before cpughing

"Okay, I think I've heard enough, I just want to check on one thing before we stop," said Lorie. Carefully, she slid the camera back so that she could see her patient's tonsils. "Say 'ah' for me, just the long one, just a couple of seconds so we can see the bottom of your tonsils, and adenoids here."

"Aaaaahhhhhhhh. "

A few more notes, and Lorie carefully removed the scope.

Ry looked at her" is it bad."

"It could be a lot worse," said Lorie honestly. "What you have are called nodules, they're basically little bumps on the vocal cords that make it difficult, or painful to speak, or sing. Unfortunately though, the only treatment is to have them surgically removed. The positive side of this though, is it only takes about two weeks, to a month post surgery before your voice is back to normal. I would schedule the surgery as soon as possible, and schedule a follow up scope about a month later."

She nodded looking at Clary

"We caught them early enough, that you shouldn't have any long term problems."

She nodded" okay."

Lorie smiled. "I'll get you the paperwork from my mentor."

She nodded" sounds good."

"The guy's are here I'm going to get them. "

Lorie left to go get the paperwork.

Clary brought the guys into the room

Dean went directly to Ryleigh's side.

Ry held him putting her face in his neck

Dean pulled her close to him.
